Police in Edloret, Uasin Gishu County have arrested two men - Thomas Elepelem Edong’ and Paul Marai Njoroge - as suspects of robbery.

The two were labeled as notorious criminals who are suspected to have killed a motorbike operator a few weeks ago.

Their identified method of operation involved night rides on a motorcycle to and from a heist.

"The two suspects are very dangerous people in this county, according to a tip-off from our sources reveals, the suspects are alleged to have hit a rider and stole his bodaboda.

"The victim, a middle-aged man, was later rushed to Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital where he was pronounced dead," Langas Police OCPD Wilson Abdupa stated.

Robbery that got two thugs caught in Ngeria, Eldoret

The two robbers were caught during an incident along Eldoret-Iten road near Hawai area area as they attempted to steal.

Residents alerted the police and due to their quick response, they were able to catch one suspect while others fled.

The captured suspect led the police to his accomplice while others in their gang remained at large.
