Paul Tergat has unveiled his National Olympic Committee of Kenya (NOCK) Presidential bid parading a team that will be via for different positions in the body.

Kenya Judo Association president Shadrack Maluki will be running for the position of the first vice-president and Athletics Kenya President General Jackson Tuwei as the second vice president.

Kenya table tennis asssociation (KTTA) chairman Andrew Mudibo as also unleashed his bid and will contest for the Secretary General post.

The Kenya Lawn Tennis Association vice chair Francis Mutuku will be going for the Assistant Secretary General position.

Elynah Shiveka, the Deputy President of the Kenya Hockey Union, makes the team to contend for the post of Treasurer and Kenya Boxing Federation (KBF) chairman John Kameta the assistant treasurer.

Two-time world marathon champion Catherine Ndereba, Kenya Regiment Rifle Club (KRRC) Vice-Chairman Shoaib Vayani and Football Kenya Federation NEC member Nabea Muriithi make the team as committee members.

The positions of women representative, male athlete representative and female athlete representative will be filled later.

The elections will take place on May 5, 2017.

NOCK was disbanded by the Sports Minister Hassan Wario following a chaotic Rio 2016, where officials were accused of mismanaging funds and  kits meant for the team.

Currently Nock is under the leadership of Kipchoge Keino
