The students blocked the major highway at Solio area as they protested over the transfer of their school principal.

Police have been forced to be called at the scene and currently engaging the students in running battles in order to clear the road.

The students had barricaded the road using stones and tree trunks causing a huge traffic snarl-up on the busy highway.
