While a lot of couples usually try to be friends after a break up, it doesn’t always go as planned and a common mistake that people make is hang around waiting for that time when you’d get back together.

1.They have moved on to someone new

Nothing says I don’t want you back like moving on to someone else after a break up. If they move on then it could be a sign that they don’t want you back.

2.They tell you upfront

If you and your ex are still in communication and they tell you that they don’t see the two of you getting back together then you should probably take their word for it.

3.They don’t commit to any of your plans

If someone wanted to spend time with you then they would make time for you. So if they are always cancelling on your plans and don’t make a conscious effort to spend time with you then it may be a sign that they don’t want to get back together.

4.They tell you to move on or tries to hook you up

If your ex tries to hook you up with a friend they think you might really connect with then that could mean that getting back together isn’t really on their mind.
