The lawyer who has branded himself as the ‘Grand Mullah’ said he was very surprised to hear that the self-declared NRM General had gone to court to be allowed back to his country of birth.

“Very surprised that Miguna Miguna has gone to court to be allowed to come back to his country of birth...what a cowardly act. I thought he said he was an NRA GENERAL. Why doesn't he storm Kenya from Kisumu and go straight to his house at Runda... coward General Miguna!!!” read the lawyer’s tweet.

His sentiments come a day after Miguna Miguna through his lawyers Nelson Havi and John Khaminwa moved to court to have the state compelled to facilitate his return to Kenya.

In his application, Miguna seeks to compel the state to reinstate his passport and make it available to him within five days of the court’s order.

He also wants the court to suspend the Gazette notice issued by Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr. Fred Matiang’i which declared the NRM a criminal organization.
