Jubilee Women Rep arrested

Laikipia Women Representative Catherine Waruguru was on Friday afternoon arrested over alleged incitement.

It was not immediately clear the circumstances that led to the arrest of the vocal Jubilee legislator.

She joins a long list of Kenyans who are arrested on Fridays in what has come to be popularly referred to as kamata kamata Friday.

Authorities have in the manner defended the arrests which often results in the suspects spending the entire weekend in police cells.
