Knec asks on Twitter what DM means, hilarious responses from Kenyans

The Kenya National Examinations Council (Knec) Twitter manager on Monday became the object of ridicule after making an embarrassing mistake.

The Knec account was responding to a tweet by one of their followers that was asking them to respond to a message sent to their inbox, also referred to as a Direct Message (DM).

Kenyans took the opportunity to make fun of the administrators of the account with many convinced that the tweet must have been sent out by an elderly person.

Some of the commentators also used the abbreviations to further mislead the administrator with clever word play.
