Kirigo in a post said that it is because she has to keep out the cold and when time for running comes she has to be light on her feet.

Kirigo recently revealed that she was fired by Citizen TV while she was preparing for the Lunch time bulletin, after working for the Royal Media Services owned news station for 8 years.

She added that she received the news of her sacking with shock because she did not imagine she could be fired from the TV station at that time but she was aware the company had plans to lay off some of its workers, just not her.
