Former Kibwezi MP Kalembe Ndile was on Saturday morning involved in a nasty road accident.

The accident happened along Nairobi-Mombasa highway.
Ndile was rushed to Shalom Community hospital, Athi River with a fractured right leg and left hand
Emerging reports indicate that the former MP was in a head on collision with another vehicle at Devki area.
Ndile, who vied unsuccessfully for the Mavoko parliamentary seat on a Jubilee ticket, was driving his Subaru Forester when the accident happedned.

Police records at the Athi River traffic base revealed that Ndile could have been on the wrong.
"On reaching at the location of the accident, the driver failed to keep to his lane and collided head on with the trailer which was heading in the opposite direction," a report by the Star quoted.
