Ida Odinga admitted that the primaries were flawed urging the losers not defect from the party.

She asked God to forgive the Opposition for the shambolic nominations noting: "We know what happened in many places, and that primaries did not go well, but we ask God to forgive us".

The Former Prime Minister's wife begged ODM members to unite and work together highlighting that infighting would simply hurt Mr. Odinga presidential bid under the National Super Alliance (NASA).

“Politics is a game of democracy where we must have winners and losers. I am asking our brothers and sisters who missed the opportunity to clinch the ODM tickets to let go of their bitterness,” Ida said.

She was speaking in Kisumu during the consecration ceremony of Voice of Salvation and Healing Church Archbishop Winnie Owiti.

Ida went ahead to drum support for the Orange party pleading with locals to turn up in large numbers on August 8 and vote NASA in.

Ms. Odinga's sentiments come days after Deputy President William Ruto's wife - Rachel- asked Kenyans to forgive Jubilee for the mistakes it had made for the past five years.
