Michael Olunga's fierce shot in the 35th minute opened the Harambee Stars score sheet that lasted for 51 minutes before an equalizer from Moses Waissawa of Uganda Cranes.

The Olunga's opener came in from a tactical play after he picked the ball form the right flank past Benjamin Ochan.

Before the game Harambee Stars were optimistic to get a walk over, but that did not happen as Uganda Cranes were fully prepared to tackle them.

Harambee tried to utilize all the possible chances but no fruits were seen from their efforts, as they kept on losing some of the very important scoring chances.

Substitutes

In the second half the Okumbi coached side settled on a number of subsitues as a way of turning things around. Musa Mohammed was replaced by Simon Mbugua as John Makwata came in for  Noah Wafula.

This helped to strengthen the stars midfield and ensure enough delivery of ball to the attackers of the day.

The same tempo was carried in the final ten minutes before substitute Waisswa popped up to fire the equaliser with a dipping angle shot off the flanks.

The outcome saw Stars playing to another draw against the regional rivals who they forced to a barren  draw in their last meeting in Kampala last year.

This will also act as Harambee Stars preparation ahead of another friendly match that will be played on Sunday at same the venue against DRC Congo.
