Mr. Matiang’i replaced the chairman of the Firearms Licensing Board Major General (Retired) Enock Sisia with Major General (Retired) Charles Mwanzia.

In a Gazette notice, the Interior CS also announced that he had revoked the appointment of the board’s secretary Samwel Kimaru.

Mr. Kimaru will be replaced by Nelson Munyi, who was previously located at the police headquarters.

The duo was appointed for a period of three years, effective from February 6, 2018.

Kimaru and Munyi were appointed by the late interior and Coordination Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery.
