It seems like parents were not worried about money and how they were gonna raise a whole 'nursery school'. However, the tradition of having many kids is slowly dying and it’s totally understandable; the economy has tanked, everything is pricey, from school fees to food to rent. Heck, it’s hard enough to raise one child and that’s why many modern-day couples prefer to have just one or two kids and that’s it.

Still, I strongly believe that if you have the capability of bringing up a big family, there’s no reason why you shouldn't, if both you and your partner are in agreement. Growing up in a family with more than three siblings is fun. There’s this special bond among the kids and it’s always fun to have siblings with whom you can share your experiences with, advise each other and fight to make up. Sure, sometimes siblings can be a pain in the ass but it’s still better than being an only lonely.

The many kids trend is creeping back in the society though. Matter of fact, it’s the in thing among the affluent. 'Four is the new three'. If you look at even many international celebrities, such as Kim Kardashian, her sister Kourtney, Angelina Jolie, Victoria Beckham to mention but a few, they all have three or more kids. And it’s not just the celebrities, more and more people are preferring to go back to the old ways of having many kids or maybe the contraceptive methods are not working as they should hehe.
