Coast Regional Coordinator Nelson Marwa said the tycoon plans mayhem witnessed in various parts of Mombasa using other people's phone number.

"He is not using his number. He uses youth's and pays them Sh1,000," Marwa alleged during a press conference on Saturday, as quoted by The Star.

Marwa said the state is tracking his cell phone and monitoring his moves.

"They walk around with tinted cars changing them 10 times daily," he said.

Speaking on phone, Abu dismissed Marwa.

"That is nonsense and cannot comment further," he said.

Marwa said Abu equaled himself to God. "Shame on you," he said adding that no one can take God's space.

This was in reference to Abu's nickname "Alpha".

But when asked why no arrest has been made, Marwa dodged and huffed.

The regional coordinator said the state has upscaled its surveillance ahead of Tuesday' poll.

"All security and vital installation like polling stations are under tight security. Any striker will be gunned down," he said.

Water bodies are also under surveillance, he said.

Marwa said curfews in Lamu and Tana River will not be lifted.

"It will go on until al Shabaab are eliminated," he said.
