The revelations come hours after IEBC chairman announced that it was illegal for the National Super Alliance (NASA) or any other party to have a parallel tallying system during Election.

“For the avoidance of doubt, it is only the commission that is allowed under the law to count, tally, collate, announce and declare the results of an election.

“Other actors, including political parties, shall have access to the results within the framework established by the commission,” Chebukati affirmed.

Oloo, who is eyeing the Kisumu Central parliamentary seat, alleged that he had full details of how Jubilee managed the secret tallying centre.

Onyango stated that IEBC was employing double standards and should not bar the Opposition from having parallel tallying centres.

If Onyango’s revelations are true, it means the Jubilee party contravened the law set by the electoral body during the 2013 polls.

The IEBC chairman was responding to ODM leader Raila Odinga, who announced on Sunday, that NASA would relay its own results to ensure that Jubilee did not rig elections.

“As IEBC will be announcing their results, media houses will be relaying their results as well. We as NASA will also announce our results from our tallying centre.

“Agents will scan the result documents and relay them in real time once they are announced at every polling station by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission officials,” the Opposition leader said on Sunday.
