Odinga called on his supporters in his critical strongholds of Siaya, Kisumu, Migori, and Homabay to maintain their resistance of the presidential election.

The former Prime Minister further promised to issue new direction to NASA supporters as the repeat process is ongoing.

On Thursday, voting was suspended in Odinga's strongholds in Nyanza region after rowdy youths sabotaged the election officials.

In most of the affected areas, staff of the electoral commission stayed away from their duty stations after receiving threats.
