Gor Mahia head coach Dylan Kerr has opted to ignore AFC Leopards as K’Ogalo’s arch rivals as they wait for their second leg’s Mashemeji derby match which will be played in August.

The Englishman has not been in charge of Gor Mahia against Ingwe or any other Kenyan Premier League team since his appointment but he simply disregards the idea that the Big Cats can challenge his side in a derby.
He told P Live that his main aim is to win every match against every opponent and that he respects every team at any time.
“I don’t know this team (AFC Leopards). I know they (Gor Mahia players) always want to prove something against AFC Leopards but every team in this Kenyan league is my rival.
“However, in a derby game you always go there planning to win but sometimes football is a bit nasty; I want to win every game; I want my players to win every game.”
