Details have emerged of the secret discussions held between President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto when the two met for lunch at the DP’s office.

Quoting multiple sources privy to the discussions, Nation reports that the President briefed his deputy on drastic actions he intends to take regarding the war on corruption.

Among the drastic actions are impending high profile arrests with reports indicating that at least three Cabinet Secretaries could be arrested over the Ksh. 21 Billion dam scandal that has got Jubilee politicians going after each other.

A well-placed source divulged to Nation that “The Head of State asked the DP to join hands with him to slay the dragon of corruption. He told him should he see any high profile arrests, he should not take it personally."

It is believed that the President went n person to prepare the DP psychologically of the impending arrests so that he does not read malice when action if finally taken against the suspects.

The DP recently alleged that the ongoing war against corruption has ben politicized with clear political outcomes in mind.

His allies led by Kipchumba Murkomen and Samson Cheragei are on record stating that the anti-graft war is aiming at sinking DP Ruto’s 2022 political ambition.

Murkomen recently called for the immediate sacking of DCI George Kinti, alleging that he is being manipulated politically to fix others.

Those who attended the Tuesday working lunch at DP Ruto’s office revealed that April could be the turning point in the fight against corruption as DPP Noordin Haji institutes charges against three CSs.

Prior to the meeting, the head of state met former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and held discussions with him before the latter jetted out to Morocco.

Among those who were at DP Ruto’s office were Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko, Aden Duale and Kipchumba Murkomen.
