Syria anti-IS forces say US President's administration supplied armoured cars

Talal Sello, the spokesman for the coalition said the new president's administration has promised support in their fight.

A coalition fighting the Islamic State group in Syria has received US armoured vehicles for the first time, and a promise of new US support, a coalition spokesman told AFP Tuesday.

"American armoured vehicles have arrived for the Syrian Democratic Forces for the first time. This happened after the new US administration came to power," said spokesman Talal Sello, adding that President Donald Trump's administration had "promised extra support."
