Ruto supporter arrested after threatening violence in 2022

Police have arrested Dennis Kiptoo Mutai, a die-hard supporter of Deputy President William Ruto who posted a message on social media - threatening political unrest in 2022.

Police had launched manhunt for Mutai last week after he posted a message claiming that post-election violence in 2022 would be worse than the 2007/8 post-election that left more than a thousand people dead and hundreds of thousands of others displaced.
