Earlier, a section of the media had reported that the lawmaker lost his seat after High Court ruling in Bungoma on Monday. The Court session, however, failed to take place in the highly anticipated case after the Judge allegedly failed to show up.

Dan Wanyama, who vied on a Jubilee ticket roughed up more than five candidates and he was the Jubilee point man in the Nasa dominated Bungoma County in the run up to the August 8 polls.

In 2013, Mr Wanyama nearly lost his seat when his rival filed a petition challenging his election.
