Aisha represents the new advanced generation of women leaders at the Coast and beyond.

Elected by the majority of Kilifi residents in 2013 as Kilifi county women representative, she has been notable in creating a powerful platform to raise women’s political and public service participation.

This move has impacted heavily on women in the area, as such taking male colleagues head-on in 2017 in competitive politics right from the ward, parliamentary, senatorial and even gubernatorial races.

She has been a Member of the National Assembly of Parliament representing Kilifi since 2013-03-10. She has been Member of Departmental Committee on Environment & Natural Resources since 2013.

She is a member of Takanga Primary School committee.
