One historic moment in the profession occurred on Tuesday morning where an NTV reporter was forced to do live reporting for rival station - KTN News.
NTV political reporter Ken Mijungu covered the government's shut down of communication equipment at the Limuru terrestrial station.
Mijungu's media house, NTV is one of those that have been blocked in the free-to-air platforms.
He however went on air on KTN News where he reported on the government's affront to media freedom.
