Luke Perry's current and former cast-mates, as well as many other celebrities, are reacting to the actor's tragic death at 52 years old.

Perry, known for his roles on Beverly Hills: 90210 and Riverdale, died Monday morning after being hospitalized last Wednesday for a massive stroke, his rep confirmed in a statement to ET .

"He was surrounded by his children Jack and Sophie, fianc Wendy Madison Bauer, ex-wife Minnie Sharp, mother Ann Bennett, step-father Steve Bennett, brother Tom Perry, sister Amy Coder, and other close family and friends," the statement said. "The family appreciates the outpouring of support and prayers that have been extended to Luke from around the world, and respectfully request privacy in this time of great mourning. No further details will be released at this time."

Stars are turning to social media to express what a kind and talented person Perry was, and how deeply they will miss him.
