On Tuesday, officers in Pear Ridge Drive monitoring the movements of the suspect who is allegedly involved in the slaying of the woman.

Police had grown suspicious of Chemirmir after finding jewellery and money on the 45 year old.

He tossed away the items in a dumpster.

According to Dallas News, a name on the jewelry box was found to be associated with a Dallas address in the 6600 block of Warm Breeze Lane, where Dallas police conducted a welfare check and found Lu Thi Harris, 81, dead of homicidal violence.

He was arrested and taken to Dallas Police Station for interrogation where they found more items belonging to the victim.

Chemirmir has been charged with capital murder and booked into Dallas County Jail in lieu of $1 million bail.
