Areas in Nairobi to experience water shortage - NCWSC

Nairobi Water & Sewerage Company has notified residents of estates along Waiyaki Way of an impending water shortage.

The notice outlined that the shortage will last a day to allow for the construction of the Nairobi Expressway.

"NCWSC will shut down water supply pipeline along Waiyaki Way from Kabete Water Treatment works due to ongoing construction of the Expressway.

"The shutdown will facilitate interconnection of relocated pipeline to the old pipeline along Waiyaki Way from the old Safaricom building to the junction of Waiyaki Way and Prof. Wangari Mathai Road starting from 6:00 am on Thursday 9th September, 2021 to Friday 10th September, 2021 at 6:00 am," the notice read in part.
