"Anyone you see supporting Jubilee is either stupid or corrupt", Alfred Keter states as he quits Jubilee
Nandi Hills Member of parliament, Alfred Keter has had it with Jubilee and said enough is enough, Punda amechoka.
The young and fiery MP, has quit Jubilee claiming “There is too much graft in the government.”
Keter who spoke to the Star announced that he will be defending his seat either as an independent candidate or he might even join another party.
Keter also launched a scathing attack on President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto, saying the two have presided over corruption never witnessed before and as a result, Kenya’s economy was collapsing because of graft.
“You can quote me on this. Anyone you see supporting Jubilee is either stupid or corrupt,” Keter said.
The MP further likened the alleged graft in the government to a cancer slowly but surely eating away at the country.
“The other name of Jubilee is corruption and you cannot describe corruption in Kenya without calling it Jubilee. I mean Jubilee and corruption are one and the same,” he said.
Keter urged Kenyans come 2017, to vote out Uhuru and Ruto.
“We should now be talking about their replacement with someone who will help Kenyans because definitely it’s not Uhuru and Ruto. They have not done anything for this country,” he said.
The Nandi hills MP accused Uhuru and Ruto of using tribal politics to stay in power and said despite being branded a warmonger and a broker, he has nothing personal against anyone but simply speaking against graft.
Keter added his voice on the NYS scam by saying he has been cleared, since all those who “mocked” him including Senator Kipchumba Murkomen, majority leader Aden Duale and Ruto’s aide Farouk Kibet have all been linked to the NYS scam.
“Kibet has admitted that he handled part of the NYS cash and even just by that fact he should have been charged, because handling stolen property is a crime,” Keter said.
