Prado seriously injures 5 after ramming into crowd partying at 1824 club

Five people were on Friday morning seriously injured after a Toyota Prado lost control and rammed into a crowd at 1824 club along Lang’ata road, Nairobi.

Police have since arrested the driver of the vehicle.

Lang’ata OCPD Gregory Mutiso who confirmed the incident, indicated that two people were seriously injured with fractured bones while three others were nursing minor injuries.

The injured were rushed to the Kenyatta National Hospital where they are currently undergoing treatment.

In the video seen by Pulselive.co.ke, one man is seen to be lying in a pool of blood with his legs broken while a lady is seen wailing not sure of what had happened.

Other accidents

The incident came hours after one person died while seven others were injured after a head on collision of a bus and a tanker near Salgaa area on the Nakuru-Eldoret highway.

The injured were taken to the Nakuru Level Five Hospital where reports indicated they were responding well to treatment.

Police confirmed that the deceased was the driver of the bus.

Nakuru OCPD Samuel Obara stated that the Msamaria Mwema bus which was heading to Nairobi from Eldoret, was at a high before it collided with the petrol tanker which was heading in the opposite direction.
