3 dead, several injured as wall collapses in Nairobi's Industrial Area

Three people have died while eleven others others have been left nursing injuries after a perimeter wall collapsed in Industrial Area, Nairobi.

The affected are said to be residents of an informal settlement near Linkoni Round About.

Two of the deceased died on the spot while another victim was pronounced dead after being rushed to hospital. A child is also reported to be trapped in the debris.

Investigations are ongoing to establish the possible cause of collapse, even as officials from the St John Ambulance suspect the wall could have caved in due to poor workmanship.
