Surprising details have emerged following a Chinese’s bizarre act of committing suicide in a hotel room Thursday evening in Nairobi.

The man, identified as Zou Xiao Qiang, used a charcoal stove to kill himself, leaving a funny suicidal message.

The late Zou Xiao Qiang, in a note, said that he had gone to his God.

Police, unable to connect ion how he managed to have a charcoal burner with him, said the victim had booked the room in Thursday afternoon and was later found dead in the toilet.

A charcoal burner, when confined, produce carbon monoxide gas, which when inhaled, blocks the key respiratory system, slowly killing.

The police found a charcoal burner next to the body stashed in a poorly ventilated hotel wash rooms.

Self-infliction

Elsewhere, a teenage boy who shot himself at their Lavington home has passed on at a Nairobi hospital.

The Aga Khan High School student died while undergoing treatment at Nairobi Hospital in the intensive care unit section.

The boy used Mr Michael Kariuki's (his father), licensed gun to shoot himself in the head after a quarrel, in which a domestic worker blocked his pursuit to use the family car.

Mr. Kariuki is a retired major, and is currently serving at Safaricom Limited as the Head of Security.
