A journalist attached to The Star newspaper has succumbed to the Covid-19 infection.

The journalist, Reuben Githinji was 52-years-old and had been admitted to Murang'a Hospital for treatment.

Githinji was the Embu correspondent for the daily before his demise. He is set to be buried in Nyahururu.
