The accident occurred after a boda boda rammed into a Public Service Vehicle (PSV).

All the three victims were travelling in the ill-fated motorcycle.

Awendo sub county assistant county commissioner Samson Akatch conformed the incident, adding that the rider was ferrying the student and the mother to Awendo when the rider rammed into the PSV causing the deadly accident.

According to Akatch, the motor cyclerider identified as David Odhiambo died on the spot.

The passengers, a student who was due to join form one at Agoro Sare Secondary School, and his mother Dorothy Auma sustained serious injuries and were rushed to Migori Level IV Hospital where they were treated.
