The accident involving Rapogi Secondary school occurred when their school bus plunged into a ditch before it overturned, along the Bondo-Kisumu road.

The accident occurred a few days after 11 Nyanchwa secondary school students’ sustained serious injuries and 22 others were left with minor injuries in an accident involving two Kisii based school buses.

The accident occurred after the Nyanchwa bus with 50 students lost control and hit Nyamonyo secondary school bus before it overturned.
