Addressing the media, Matiang'i divulged that Titus Musyoka was in stable condition after being shot by unknown assailants outside Marsabit Plaza along Ngong road in Nairobi.
The CS announced that he had met inspector of Police Joseph Boinnet and Nairobi County commander Japheth Koome and agreed to beef up security for judicial officers.
Matiang'i said that investigations had been launched but failed to divulge more details regarding the shooting.
"I have also met Boinnet and Koome who are working to ensure the complete security of all members of the Judiciary," the CS said.

Reports indicate that a security guard with G4S has been arrested in connection with the shooting incident.
