Making the announcement on social media, Mr Joho divulged that little Hussein had been battling cancer for the last three years.

"I am deeply saddened by the loss of my beloved nephew Abubakar Hussein, the charming four years old was diagnosed with cancer. He put up a good fight for his life and the Almighty has lifted the burden off his shoulders,” Joho eulogized.

The Mombasa boss encouraged his brother Hussein and wife Sausan over the loss of the little boy.

“To my brother Hussein and your wife I ask Allah to bless you with patience, strength, courage and peace in the face of your loss,"  Joho stated.
