Nameless celebrates Dad as he turns 85, narrates his battle with Covid-19

Veteran musician, David Mathenge alias Nameless has taken to social media to celebrate his father as he turns 85 years old, today. 

In a post seen by Pulse, the Te-Amo hit-maker was grateful to have his dad mark his birthday after both parents contracted Covid-19. 

In addition, the musician’s father had also been recuperating after undergoing a head surgery to remove a blood clot in the head.

“We have every reason to thank God because as you know my dad has been on recovery mode after two major operations last year. To add to that, about a month Ago Both My mum and Dad Got Covid 😳🤦🏾‍♂️..that was a scary time for the family because both my parents are vulnerable and have underlying conditions,” read part of Nameless’ post.

The award-winning musician also disclosed that his mum had been admitted over the same saying, “They both recovered fully last week with my mum having to be admitted for afew days in hospital.My dad, thank God was asymptomatic. Can I get an Amen ,🙏🏿🙏🏿... We Thank God for their Health today and every day we get to share with them!”

And because music has a healing power, Nameless shared that seeing him and wife, Legendary musician, Wahu, dance to their new song speeded his mother’s recovery.
