Miguna's lawyers had last evening announced that their client had been deported to Dubai but the true version of events only came about on Thursday morning.

Unknown to many Kenyans, the first distress message from Miguna was published by NASA leader Raila Odinga's daughter, Winnie.

The former Prime Minister's daughter was one of the first people Miguna texted after he woke up to find himself in Dubai.

"I have just received the following distress from General Miguna Miguna," she stated before posting the message from the NRM General.

It was then that Miguna's message starting spreading.

The outspoken lawyer has insisted that he would return to the country on Thursday (29th March) or on Friday (30th March).
