Matiang’i appeared before the National Assembly’s Security committee after MPs summoned him over the fiasco.

He was accompanied by Immigration Principals Secretary Gordon Kihalangwa and Inspector of Police Joseph Boinet.

The three have previously disregarded nearly ten court summons issued by the judiciary.

They were also found guilty of contempt of court by Justice George Odunga.
