Samwel Marwa, a 32-year-old prisoner collapsed and died just days after a Covid-19 diagnosis.

Mr Marwa is said to have tested positive for Coronavirus just days after he was sentenced.
According to authorities, he had been receiving treatment while in custody before he succumbed to complications believed to have risen from the respiratory disease.
Kuria West sub-county Police Commander Cleti Kimaiyo confirmed the death explaining that the inmate had been placed in a cell for isolation.
He added that Marwa was scheduled to be transported to Migori GK prison to serve his sentence.

The prisoner is said to have been found dead in the cell on Monday morning.
