The order came after former Embu Senator Lenny Kivuti successfully filed a petition challenging Governor Wambora’s win in the August election.

Justice William Musyoka said former Senator Lenny Kivuti, who has contested Governor Martin Wambora’s win had demonstrated that there were numerous errors in the tallying exercise.
In the tightly contested gubernatorial race held last year Wambora garnered 97,544 votes against Kivuti’s 96,597.
