'Love Is Blind's' Kenny And Kelly Reveal They Were Never Actually Going To Get Married

The Love Is Blind reunion show dropped on YouTube and Netflix earlier this week, and it did not disappoint. Among other revelations , fans learned that Kelly Chase and Kenny Barnes, whose relationship seemed so solid up until their wedding day, were still not together . Now, theyre opening up in a new interview to say that, yeah, you didnt see everything that really went on between them before they got to the altar.

Just to recap: On the show, Kenny and Kelly seemed pretty happy as a couple. They never got intimate, but there still seemed like there was a lot of love there. But, during the finale, Kelly decided not to get married because she wasnt in love with Kenny. Fast-forward to the reunion, and it still seemed like Kelly was the one who pulled the plug on their relationship.

Well, in a new interview with ET , Kelly and Kenny made it clear that they had mutually decided to say "I dont" before the wedding. "Whats not shown is that she and I had conversations multiple times," Kenny said, noting that cameras were there. Those convos just conveniently never made it to the show.

"We were adamantly not going to get married. That was never something that we were going to do," Kenny said. He added that the two really viewed the whole experience as an "experiment" and they were "just doing the best to follow along with it." (This is especially interesting, since a source close to the show previously told Women's Health that each couple had to pay for the majority of their wedding themselves .)

Now, both say theyre doing well. Kelly is single after having a "serious-ish" relationship post-Kenny, and Kenny seems to be happily dating someone new. "I really have evolved since then," Kelly said.

"We appreciated the experiment from start to finish and well always have those memories," Kenny added.
