Angry youth who had already gathered in the city barricaded roads with boulders in protest over the judges' ruling.

A car was seen torched in Kondele in the area as the youth took to the streets.

The Kisumu main bus terminal was cleared, with no vehicles in sight as bonfires were lit on key roads leading to town.

The lakeside city has witnessed violent clashes in the past few months since the August 8 elections with several deaths reported in the process.
