In a press statement on Tuesday morning, President Kenyatta condoled with the family and relatives of David Wokabi Muriithi - a nephew to the retired President Kibaki.

Muriithi is also brother to Laikipia Governor Ndiritu Muriithi.

“He knew and understood my vision and that of the Jubilee Party of uniting Kenyans to live together harmoniously. Indeed he was a bridge that linked Kenyans across the country,” President Kenyatta stated in his statement of condolence.
