The Marakwet East MP Kangogo Bowen was on Saturday evening involved in a road accident on the Kapsawar- Tot road in Marakwet East as he was heading to a wedding with two of his children.

According to Citizen Digital, the Jubilee legislator’s vehicle brakes failed as the car was moving down a steep descent prompting him to veer off the road to prevent a collision with other on coming vehicles.

The vocal MP is said to have sustained minor injuries while his children escaped unhurt.

He was then rushed to Mediheal Hospital in Eldoret where he is undergoing treatment.
