A heavy contingent of police officers and security personnel was on Friday morning deployed at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) ahead of NASA leader Raila Odnga arrival to the country.

Tension gripped the area as the heavily armed officers were seen ready to disperse any NASA supporters wanting to enter the Airport area.

Roadblocks were also erected at the entrance of JKIA.
A group of Opposition followers were seen by the road side while motorists along Mombasa road were stuck on traffic caused by the morning activities.
