47 regional and county commissioners have been moved in the reshuffle that has come at a time when the ministry is carrying out a crackdown on Opposition leaders.

One of the notable changes is the replacement of Coast Regional Commissioner Nelson Marwa with Bernard Lemparmarai.

Marwa was recently promoted by President Uhuru Kenyatta after being picked as the Devolution Principal Secretary.
