Former State House Comptroller Abraham Kiptanui is dead, as confirmed by his family.

Kiptanui' passed away at the Nairobi Hospital early Sunday morning where he had been admitted for several weeks.
The late Kiptanui served during the late President Moi's tenure until his retirement in 1996.
