Speaking on Wednesday during the peace conference, Nkaissery announced that the Opposition was inciting Kenyans with the sentiments and warned them against uttering such statements. He went ahead issued a strong message to the Opposition.

However, a section of the public was not impressed by his remarks with some stating he was biased and should resign from his post.

Another section questioned why he would be bothered by the number of votes NASA would in the August Election instead of focusing on security matters affecting the country.
