Mzee Moi as many like to refer to him who left for Israel on Sunday morning, was accompanied by his son and Baringo senator Gideon Moi and his personal doctor David Silverstein.

According to Dr. David Silverstein, they are keen to have a second opinion on his knee which has been a source of discomfort to the former president.

President Moi is the longest serving President of the Republic of Kenya, underwent a knee surgery at the Agha Khan Hospital in Nairobi in 2017.
