In a tweet by Borussia Dortmund, the centre-back player was discovered injured in the explosion minutes after officials had said all players were safe.
"In the explosion, was injured and is currently in the hospital. Good and quick recovery, Marc! bvbasm,"the tweet informed.
Marc Bartra Aregall is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for German club Borussia Dortmund and the Spain national team.
